In 2016, we were awarded the Sainsburys Silver Award!

What is the School Games Mark?

|

The Sainsbury's School Games Mark is a Government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community. Schools in England are able to assess themselves across bronze, silver and gold levels of the Mark.

Allonby Primary School are proud to have been awarded the silver level which is a fantastic achievement given the limited number of children in school. It demonstrates the schools commitment to PE & School Sport and the value it places on this as a driver to further improve standards in all areas of the curriculum

Sports Day 2017

|

A great afternoon when everyone had a chance to join in the games, including staff and parents. Finally a trophy for the winners!

PE is fun

|

We enjoy using the apparatus in the gym and playing games out in the playground.

Sports Day 2017

|

We had a lovely sunny afternoon for Sports Day. A record number of parents and grandparents turned up which meant that the Adult egg and spoon race was very competitive! The Blue Team won the cup this year!
